ITAC, a growing ENR-ranked design firm, seeks a senior engineer/consultant in the Durham, NC area to lead discipline deliverables across multiple projects. You will drive scope, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering with 10+ years of process engineering experience, excellent problem-solving, and strong communication skills. ITAC offers ESOP and flexible remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Process Engineering (or equivalent working knowledge/experience).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsabilités

• Scope: The senior engineer/consultant is responsible for the discipline portion of all scope documents and ensuring they meet their intended purpose.
• Schedule: Aid in developing and maintaining the project schedule and ensure proper resources are assigned.
• Budget: Track and maintain discipline budgets and ensure task codes are defined for weekly cost reports.
• Quality: Ensure quality of all discipline deliverables and obtain quality control checks.
• Execution Plan: Aid in the development and execution of the Project Execution Plan and identify risks and delays.
• Project management: May act as project manager on single discipline or small multi-discipline projects.
