Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Sr Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize refinery processes. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to develop sound strategies around safety, process improvements, and sustainability while reducing cost and maximizing profitability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years in energy engineering, and willingness to travel up to 5%. You will support major turnarounds and operate safely in challenging conditions at the Borger,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of engineering experience in the energy industry.
• Willing to travel up to 5%.
• Work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Climb ladders and work near large, high-speed machines.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering solutions and the associated validation process.
• Analyze information and specify methods and process steps to design and improve manufacturing or materials processes.
• Manage technical troubleshooting projects and process operations.
• Conduct research using primary data sources for key themes and trends.
• Support Process Safety Management activities like MOC, PHA’s and LOPA.
• Maintain key process safety information including P&IDs and PFDs.
• Provide process and technical support for turnarounds, maintenance, and startups.
• Demonstrate commitment to workplace safety for employees and contractors.
