Job summary

Phillips 66 is seeking a Sr Process Engineer in Borger, Texas. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing refinery processes to improve safety, reliability, and profitability.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop technically sound improvement strategies and manage major turnarounds on a rotation. The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least three years in the energy industry, with willingness to travel up to 5% and to work extended hours

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in the energy industry.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering solutions and validation to meet briefs, standards, cost, and performance.
• Analyze processes and equipment to improve manufacturing or materials processes within cost/quality targets.
• Lead technical troubleshooting on equipment and experiments to develop effective solutions.
• Support process safety management activities and maintain P&IDs, PFDs, and heat/mass balances.
• Provide process support for major turnarounds and unit startups on shift.
