Job summary

Bio-Techne Minneapolis site seeks a Senior Process Engineer – Reagent Manufacturing to strengthen manufacturing capability in reagent preparation, liquid handling, mixing, and filtration. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 3+ years of relevant process‑engineering experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with liquid‑processing unit operations: mixing, formulation, filtration, liquid handling/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead process‑engineering support for prioritized technical gaps within current manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate overall process capability by assessing materials, equipment, scale, process parameters, operating methods, sources of variation, and outputs.
• Build deeper process understanding and recommend improvements to robustness, repeatability, quality, and manufacturability.
• Serve as SME for reagent preparation, liquid handling and transfer, mixing, formulation, and filtration.
• Apply process‑engineering methods to scale‑up, including equipment selection and operating ranges.
• Evaluate filtration requirements and bioburden control considerations.
• Lead assessments of manufacturing issues and define engineering studies with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and other site functions to resolve technical gaps.
