Helena Industries is seeking an Engineer to lead engineering tasks and team members under the Plant Engineer or Plant Manager. The role covers project execution, deliverables, procurement, and training to strengthen processes and equipment.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, proficiency with AutoCAD, and strong interpersonal skills. Travel up to 30% may be needed; safety and reliability are emphasized in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Experience with engineering disciplines (process/mechanical, electrical/controls, facilities) is preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Engineer/Project Manager with capital and expense project execution, including definition, planning, approval, tracking, and reporting.
• Generate engineering deliverables (drawings, calculations, specifications, bid packages, installation scope) for project execution.
• Procure equipment, labor and materials.
• Support installation, commissioning and training activities.
• Serve as a technical resource for the plant; assist operations in process analysis and equipment troubleshooting.
• Train and mentor other employees (engineers, maintenance, interns, production personnel).
• Maintain plant drawings (P&IDs, layouts, electrical drawings).
