Job summary

Helena Industries (HI) is seeking an Engineer to lead engineering tasks and guide the engineering team under the Plant Engineer or Plant Manager. You will support capital and expense projects, generate drawings and specs, procure equipment, and assist with commissioning and training.

You will act as a technical resource for the plant, analyze processes, mentor staff, maintain drawings (P&IDs, layouts, electrical), and ensure safety and compliance while offering excellent service to internal and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Experience with engineering disciplines and principles including process/mechanical, electrical/controls, and facilities concepts is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time is required.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Engineer/Project Manager with execution of capital and expense projects including definition, planning, approval, tracking and reporting.
• Generate engineering deliverables (drawings, calculations, specifications, bid packages) for project execution.
• Procure equipment, labor and materials.
• Support installation, commissioning and training activities as necessary.
• Serve as a technical resource for the plant for internal and external needs.
• Assist operations with process analysis and equipment troubleshooting to identify improvements.
