Job summary

Helena Industries (HI) is seeking an Engineer to oversee engineering tasks and lead engineering team members under the direction of the Plant Engineer or Plant Manager.

You will assist with capital and expense projects, generate drawings and calculations, procure equipment, and support installation, commissioning, and training.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, English fluency, travel up to 30%, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is required.
• Experience with process/mechanical, electrical/controls, and facilities engineering preferred.
• Ability to travel by up to 30% of the time is required.
• Ability to read, write and speak in English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Engineer/Project Manager with capital and expense project execution.
• Generate engineering deliverables (drawings, calculations, specifications, bid packages, installation scope) for projects.
• Procure equipment, labor and materials.
• Support installation, commissioning and training activities as necessary.
• Serve as a technical resource for the plant for internal and external needs.
• Assist operations in process analysis and equipment troubleshooting to identify improvements.
• Train and mentor engineers, maintenance, interns, and production personnel.
• Maintain plant drawings, including P&IDs, layouts, and electrical drawings.
