Job summary

Orbia Fluor & Energy Materials is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to provide first-line process technical support for plant operations and growth projects.

You will lead process safety management efforts and optimize daily operations while ensuring compliance with procedures and government regulations. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in a highly regulated chemical environment, and possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing process chemical environments.
• Experience supporting large multi-discipline projects in a highly regulated chemical setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, support and optimize daily plant operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs for EHS, efficiency and production.
• Lead process safety management activities including PSI, MOCs, PSSRs, and PHAs.
• Troubleshoot process upsets and implement permanent improvements.
• Collaborate on capital project scope, design reviews and startup support.
