Job summary

Avantor is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide engineering leadership and technical support for operations, manufacturing, product development, safety, and customer support. The role leads technology, safety management, and process development, with scale-up and implementation responsibility.

The position is full-time and onsite at our Paris, KY location, requiring collaboration with multiple departments to drive continuous improvement and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
• Knowledge of FDA, cGMP, ISO 9000 and applicable environmental regulations.
• Six Sigma Black Belt and/or Lean certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering leadership and technical support for manufacturing and product development.
• Drive continuous improvement projects across Engineering, Maintenance, R&T, and production teams.
• Ensure product quality, safety, throughput, and waste reduction.
• Develop and implement metrics for process safety and performance.
• Lead capital projects to support plant initiatives.
