Job summary

US Conec, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of injection molding processes, ensuring high quality and cost efficiency.

You will partner with tooling, maintenance, and production teams to standardize methods and implement DOE, SPC, and process controls. The role emphasizes reducing cycle times, scrap, and variability while mentoring engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Plastics engineering.
• 7+ years in injection molding process development.
• Expertise in polymer materials and precision molding (PEI, PBT, PC/ABS).
• Experience with scientific molding, mold flow analysis, and process validation.
• Hands-on with molding machines, robotics, and automation systems.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge; SPC familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize injection molding processes for quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot defects and tooling issues with root-cause analysis.
• Lead DOE and process validation to ensure capable processes.
• Support new equipment installation and qualification.
• Standardize process documentation and SOPs; lead process improvements.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians.
