Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation seeks an experienced Sr. Process Engineer to optimize existing processes, design new solutions, and ensure safe operations across projects. You will drive productivity and profitability through process improvement and innovation.

You will lead project teams, develop PFDs and P&IDs, conduct simulations and economic evaluations, and mentor junior engineers while delivering detailed technical reports and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field; master's preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience as a Process Engineer in industrial settings.
• Experience with process simulation software and safety/regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of new processes and modifications.
• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
• Perform process simulations, modeling, and economic evaluations for optimization.
• Create and maintain PFDs, P&IDs, and process documentation.
• Select process equipment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project execution.
• Provide technical support during commissioning, startup, and operations.
• Mentor junior engineers and prepare technical reports and proposals.
