Job summary

SHINE Technologies in Wisconsin is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for our Used Nuclear Fuel (UNF) Recycling product line. This role owns the process systems that turn UNF back into energy, advancing liquid-liquid separation with new technologies to improve safety and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Own the process design of assigned systems: process flow diagrams, P&IDs, material and energy balances, equipment sizing, and design requirements.
• Prepare and review design packages, specifications, test plans, calculations, reports, and drawings.
• Lead or participate in hazard and operability studies (HAZOPs) and design reviews for assigned systems.
• Work with SHINE R&D to translate process technology from development into fabrication-ready designs.
• Write equipment specifications and work with procurement to purchase equipment.
• Perform factory/site acceptance tests and field walk-downs.
