Job summary

BD, a leading medical technology company, is seeking an engineer to optimize pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and lead continuous improvement initiatives. You will support validation, equipment qualification, CAPA, and data-driven process enhancements across multiple manufacturing teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a chemical/industrial/mechanical/biomedical field and 3+ years in a regulated setting, with exposure to FDA/cGMP environments. On-site in El Paso, Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years engineering experience in pharmaceutical/regulated manufacturing.
• Experience with FDA-regulated, cGMP, validation, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support to pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
• Analyze processes to improve efficiency, quality, yield, and cost.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and improve process capability.
• Support validation, equipment qualification, and revalidation activities.
• Coordinate engineering projects from conception through implementation.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Operations, Validation, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain teams.
