Qualifications

• 10+ years of process engineering experience with leadership on capital projects in life sciences, pharmaceutical or food & beverage industries.
• PE license a plus.
• Experience with process design deliverables and vendor submittals.
• Hands-on with HAZOP/HACCP, commissioning and start-up activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering for medium to large capital projects, ensuring technical integrity and budget control.
• Develop and review P&IDs, 3D models and drawings to meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Prepare calculations, equipment specs, datasheets and submittals; review vendor docs and manage RFIs.
• Coordinate HAZOP/HACCP workshops and other risk assessments; define mitigations.
• Manage commissioning and start-up activities, including FAT/SAT plans and punch-list closeout.
• Maintain quality control of drawings and deliverables; ensure constructability and scope compliance.
• Control scope changes, prepare cost estimates and support budget forecasting.
• Provide technical direction to construction teams and vendors on-site.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers; collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
• Serve as client technical point of contact; present proposals and progress updates.
