Job summary

Virtue America is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support a regulated manufacturing operation in Draper, Utah. The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing engineering expertise, hands-on Lean Six Sigma experience, and a proven track record of improving process performance through data-driven problem-solving.

Mandatory requirement includes providing 2 Manager-level professional references along with resume for consideration.

Qualifications

• Formal Lean Six Sigma certification is mandatory.
• Approximately 10–15 years of process or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong hands-on experience applying DMAIC and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Experience with process characterization, statistical analysis, and Minitab.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for sustaining manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Lead root cause investigations related to yield, scrap, process variation, and production efficiency.
• Apply DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma, and statistical methods to drive continuous improvement.
• Perform process characterization, process capability studies, DOE, and SPC analysis.
• Use Minitab or comparable statistical tools to analyze manufacturing data.
• Lead initiatives focused on yield improvement, scrap reduction, and process optimization.
• Support process validation activities, including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Manage or support change control, equipment changes, and process improvements within regulated quality systems.
