Job summary

Mott Corporation, a technology-driven, high-precision filtration company, seeks a Senior Process Engineer to provide technical leadership for complex manufacturing processes. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to expand capability, accelerate scalable production, and improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field; advanced degree a plus.
• 7+ years in process/manufacturing/industrial engineering.
• Proven ownership of complex processes and cross-functional leadership.
• Proficient in structured problem-solving, FMEA, control plans, and statistics.
• Experience with BOMs, standard work, and engineering change control.
• Experience specifying and scaling capital equipment and automation.
• Mentor staff and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in powder processing or related advanced manufacturing is preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own technical performance and long-term capability of assigned processes.
• Lead cross-functional projects from concept to production.
• Develop advanced process designs, control strategies, and qualification plans.
• Lead root-cause investigations with data analysis.
• Direct design-for-manufacturability reviews and production scaling.
• Identify and implement capital equipment and automation solutions.
• Establish and improve engineering standards and knowledge management.
• Mentor Process Engineers, technicians, and production personnel.
• Influence cross-functional priorities and report to leadership.
• Lead continuous-improvement across manufacturing areas.
• Represent Process Engineering in audits and technical discussions.
• Anticipate future capacity and roadmaps.
