Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in California to lead the Process discipline on projects, providing technical direction and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams. The role requires extensive experience in process engineering, simulations, and on-site refinery exposure.

You will liaise with client representatives, define scope, estimate effort, and ensure timely deliverables while upholding Worley’s standards. Strong leadership and knowledge of relevant standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• Experience with process simulation packages (HYSYS, PRO 11/II).
• 8+ years of hands-on process engineering experience in oil & gas.
• Strong leadership and ability to direct multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Process discipline on a project.
• Provide technical direction and control of Process work.
• Liaise with client discipline reps to set technical direction.
• Define scope, estimate, and manage progress of Process activities.
• Plan man hours, schedules, and staffing by skill and experience.
• Coordinate Process engineering design and drafting.
• Perform complete complex process design activities including simulation.
• Coordinate with other discipline Lead engineers on technical issues.
• Assist asset/client Lead Project Engineers in defining Process work and deliverables.
• Prepare input to Essential Process Documents and maintain document integrity.
