Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Company is seeking a Process Engineer 4 to lead engineering efforts across major chemical process projects. You will mentor engineers, develop innovative concepts, perform heat and material balances, and review key deliverables while ensuring safety and constructability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum 12 years of professional experience.
At least 6 years in EPCm or related chemical sectors.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor engineers and designers on multiple projects.
Develop conceptual designs and evaluate alternatives for constructability and cost.
Manage changes to process scope within budgets and schedules.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, vendors, and clients.
Plan staffing and resource allocation for assigned projects.
Review drawings, calculations, and specs for compliance.
Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
