Job summary

Amrize seeks a Senior Process Engineer in Garden Grove, CA to lead capital projects and optimize chemical manufacturing processes. You will manage scope, schedule, and cost, while supporting operations with hands-on technical expertise and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a BS in Chemical Engineering with 5–7 years of experience; a Master’s is preferred. Expect onsite work, strong safety focus, and collaboration across teams to drive efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 5–7 years of project and process engineering in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience managing cradle-to-grave capital projects from $50K to $5M+.
• Experience with PSM and RMP is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects from concept to commissioning and final documentation.
• Analyze data, workflows, and processes to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Read, interpret, and modify P&IDs; size pumps, piping, vessels, valves and instrumentation.
• Provide daily technical support to Operations and Maintenance for stable, reliable production.
