Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Process Engineer to push boundaries in semiconductor technology and drive innovations. This role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams and customers, and involves developing new processes and evaluating test data.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s or PhD in a related field and have substantial experience in process engineering, with a focus on material science and surface engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with a Master's degree, or 5+ years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in semiconductor, process design, deposition, etch dielectrics or conductor, metal films, etc.
• Experience in a collaborative and matrixed environment with teams and semiconductor customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to analyze results and report on customer demos for process applications.
• Drive adoption of new technologies at customer sites.
• Conduct process engineering research supporting cutting-edge semiconductor equipment.

Skills

Fluent in at least two languages

Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Design of Experiments (DOE)

Statistical analysis and problem-solving methodologies

Education

Master’s in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics or related field

PhD in related field
