The role includes contractor oversight, procurement support, and participation in hazard reviews, commissioning, and start‑up, with travel about 25%. Submittal deadline: Oct 16, 2026.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or equivalent; Mechanical/Chemical background preferred.
• Experience in petroleum refining / chemical process industry.
• Capital project development experience.
• Ability to meet deadlines under heavy workload and changing priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Read, write, and speak fluent English for technical and business communications.

Responsabilités

• Lead engineers in developing process design specifications and heat & material balances.
• Lead or perform process optimization studies for cost savings and safety requirements.
• Provide technical oversight of contractor's work to ensure consistency with methods and owner requirements.
• Participate in Hazard & Operability Reviews for new/modified facilities.
• Provide commissioning and start-up assistance for new/modified facilities.
• Establish organization and staffing processes.
