Job summary

Williams-Sonoma is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Pittsburgh to conduct technical and economic evaluations, design and optimize midstream gas facilities, and lead projects from concept to startup. You will develop process simulations with ProMax and VMGSim, size and select equipment, and help ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering (ABET accredited) and PE licensure, with about eight years in natural gas or petrochemical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field from ABET accredited college.
• PE license required; substantial natural gas or petrochemical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and optimization of natural gas compression and dehydration facilities.
• Develop process simulations and perform heat and material balances.
• Prepare and review PFDs and P&IDs, equipment datasheets, and operating philosophies.
• Provide technical support across project lifecycle from concept to startup.
• Support safety, regulatory compliance, and cost control.
