Job summary

Custom Fabricating & Repair Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Wisconsin to lead data-driven design for client projects in the dairy/food sector. You will develop heat and material balances, PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specs while managing project budgets and schedules.

The role involves 30–50% travel to understand customer requirements and coordinate cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams. 8+ years of relevant experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years as a Process Design Engineer in dairy/food/beverage manufacturing.
• Experience with project scheduling and engineering budgeting.
• Familiarity with process safety management codes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead gathering and analysis of technical data for client projects.
• Develop heat and material balances, PFDs and P&IDs for projects.
• Size and prepare equipment specifications with adherence to codes.
• Coordinate with project teams and manage client communication on schedules.
• Act as technical resource and guide junior engineers and designers.
• Support plant operations, commissioning, startup, and training.
