Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Senior-level experience in process or equipment engineering.
• Strong thermodynamics, fluid flow, heat transfer, and controls knowledge.
• Hands-on with engineered industrial equipment under pressure/temperature conditions.
• Experience interpreting P&IDs, process-flow diagrams and instrumentation specs.
• Ability to collaborate with mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing, and field teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Director of Engineering to understand products, technologies, and customer applications.
• Consult with customers to understand processes, requirements, and performance expectations.
• Translate requirements into practical, safe equipment solutions.
• Develop specifications and design criteria for custom engineered equipment.
• Perform calculations for pressure, temperature, flow, heat transfer, steam, and process performance.
• Review P&IDs, instrumentation requirements, and control-system strategies.
• Lead cross-functional design reviews and a range of project execution activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processes; provide technical support to customers and teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and teams.
