Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and sustain advanced manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on improving process performance, reducing waste, and supporting continuous improvement across operations. You will analyze production workflows, implement process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with quality, operations, and supply chain to ensure high quality production.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor’s degree with 4+ years experience, or a master’s with 2+ years, or a PhD.
Nice to have knowledge in validation, vision systems, automation, molding/tooling, and packaging.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area.
Recommend and implement equipment and process changes to meet quality and efficiency.
Integrate equipment and materials to meet target specifications.
Review product development for processing-method costs and schedules.
Collaborate with design teams to ensure process compatibility.
Lead the development and optimization of new manufacturing concepts.
Plan feasibility work, material selection, tooling, and equipment installation.
Develop processes for statistical process control and measurement systems.
Ensure processes comply with regulatory and safety standards.
