Job summary

Henkel in Compton, CA is seeking a process improvement engineer to enhance manufacturing efficiency across the adhesive technologies unit. You will analyze data, lead root-cause investigations and implement sustainable changes in collaboration with R&D, production, quality and maintenance teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and has 1+ years in manufacturing, with familiarity in FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP and basic statistics, plus strong

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field.
1+ years of experience in chemical, manufacturing, or industrial production.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, and basic statistics.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Drive process improvement and optimization to raise manufacturing efficiency and lower costs.
Partner with R&D, Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Safety to implement improvements.
Analyze manufacturing data and process metrics to find improvement opportunities.
Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Support customer satisfaction via FMEA and material failure investigations.
Execute process changes using MOC tools while maintaining safe operations.
