Job summary

Henkel's Adhesive Technologies unit is seeking a Product Development Chemist to drive optimization across the APC HM portfolio, focusing on cost savings, supply security, product quality and manufacturing efficiency. You will work closely with PLM, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality Control and Manufacturing to identify formulation, raw material, and process improvements that support business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field of education.
• Proficiency in laboratory testing, data analysis, and technical reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and drive results across cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of chemical formulations, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive optimization initiatives across the APC HM product portfolio, with a focus on cost savings, supply security, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Product Line Management (PLM), Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Manufacturing teams to identify and implement formulation, raw material, and process improvements that support business objectives.
• Lead qualification efforts for cost-saving opportunities, ensure continuity of supply through alternative raw material and supplier evaluations, and provide technical support to manufacturing facilities to improve operational performance and product quality.
