Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS GA, Inc. is seeking a Module Process Engineer in Cartersville, GA to direct shift and day Process Technicians and apply continuous improvement methods to enhance plant operations, safety, quality and overall efficiency.

The role emphasizes developing and implementing process improvements, supporting plant goals in OE and JE, and driving safety initiatives while aligning with manufacturing and quality teams. Salary is commensurate with experience and market norms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in process or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical approach.
• Proven technical acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implements methods for sampling, inspection, testing and evaluation of products.
• Initiates process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality and defect analysis.
• Execute all required duties while practicing safe work methods and adhering to all plant safety rules.
• Be the driver in investigating, proposing, procuring and launching new process and operations improvements by developing metrics and conducting audits.
• Assist development of technical training plan for process engineering and continuous improvement methodology (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).
• Develop troubleshooting guides for maintenance and operations personnel for line use and train them.
• Actively participate with the EHS team to lead projects that improve worker safety and minimize incident risk.
• Function as a change agent and drive change through cross-functional efforts between safety, manufacturing, and quality resources.
• Develop engineering documentation: PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, etc.
