Job summary

Honeywell Tulsa is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to lead design work for Callidus Combustion Technologies, focusing on Flares, Burners and Thermal Oxidizers. You will interface with sales and engineering teams to develop PFDs/PIDs, run simulations, and guide project execution while mentoring junior engineers on a hybrid work schedule.

You will travel domestically and internationally as required; the role demands strong leadership and customer-facing communication skills to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred)
• 10+ years of Engineering experience with design knowledge of Combustion Technologies in Flares, Burners and/or TOs
• Extensive process simulation experience using UniSim and related design tools
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, develop, and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Perform process design work for Callidus Combustion Technologies to support proposals and projects.
• Interface with sales teams and engineering disciplines to meet technical requirements.
• Develop process deliverables: heat and material balances, PFDs/PIDs, equipment sizing, utility summaries.
• Run process simulations and develop project specifications for major equipment.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and address concerns.
• Troubleshoot engineering issues during initial startup.
• Evaluate bids and participate in supplier selection.
• Participate in 3D model reviews and HAZOP meetings.
