Job summary

XRG Technologies in Tulsa, OK is seeking a CFD/Process engineer specializing in combustion CFD modeling to tackle complex thermal challenges across refining, petrochemical, and power industries. Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, MS preferred.
• 3+ years of CFD experience (Fluent, StarCCM+).
• Experience with fired heaters, boilers, and heat exchangers.
• Familiarity with API, ASME, ASTM standards.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, run, and interpret CFD simulations for combustion and heat transfer equipment.
• Design and optimize fired heaters, boilers, and heat exchangers.
• Perform heat transfer, combustion, and hydraulics calculations using FRNC-5 and in-house software.
• Support field surveys, commissioning, and performance testing.
• Collaborate on R&D and CFD methods development.
