Job summary

Valley Steel Stamp seeks a Senior Process Engineer to own advanced machining processes and large multi-part programs. You will architect CNC programs and work-holding, validate processes via robust inspection (including CMM), tune cycle time, and improve quality at the source.

You’ll mentor engineers, lead cross-functional projects, and drive automation where justified, with a focus on multi-axis milling/turning and 5-axis capabilities.

Qualifications

8+ years in precision machining process engineering.
Expert CAD/CAM and post/simulation discipline.
Proven CMM programming and ASME Y14.5 knowledge.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end machining processes from concept to production.
Create advanced toolpaths; optimize feeds/speeds, tool life, MRR, and cut strategy.
Design modular, low-deflection fixtures; select and develop custom cutting tools.
Define in-process and final verification plans (incl. CMM programs); align with standards.
Lead cross-functional projects and mentor engineers/technicians; drive automation.
