Job summary

INEOS Olefins & Polymers USA in League City, TX seeks a Senior Process Engineer for Capital Projects to lead process design for FEL1–FEL3, ensuring safe, operable and reliable solutions aligned with business goals.

You will own frontend process engineering, supervise QA/QC of deliverables, and support construction, commissioning and startup activities across major capital projects in petrochemicals. Strong expertise in heat and material balances, process safety, and equipment sizing is required.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of petrochemicals, refining, or polymers process engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ownership of process design for capital projects from FEL1 through commissioning.
• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend and detailed process engineering for capital projects from FEL1 to Execute.
• QA/QC of process deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, and control narratives.
• Support construction, commissioning, startup, and handover activities.
• Embed process safety through HAZOP/LOPA/SIS and MOC discipline.
