Héroux-Devtek Inc. in Strongsville, OH, seeks a Senior Process Engineer to sustain and optimize surface finishing operations within the plating facility.

You will develop, implement, and maintain robust processes to drive continuous improvement, collaborating with process and tooling engineers and shop floor personnel. You will lead training, support grit blast, plating, and grinding operations, and ensure compliance with NADCAP and AS9100 requirements while driving cost reductions and process

Qualifications

• Accredited University or College degree in a technical field is desired.
• Experience in manufacturing (ideally aerospace) with surface finishing/plating.
• Ability to write technical procedures and training documents.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and optimize surface finishing operations in plating facility.
• Develop and revise surface finishing techniques and work instructions.
• Lead process qualification activities with clients and audits (AS9100/NADCAP).
• Partner with Tooling Process Engineer to test and improve tooling.
• Train operators and ensure knowledge transfer for surface finishing processes.
