Job Title: Opto-Mechanical Process Engineer IV

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Pay Range

$80.00/hr - $85.00/hr

Required Skills:

• BS in Optical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or AAS degree with 10+ years experience in the field of Optics
• 3+ years experience, preferably in the field of optics
• Knowledge of the manufacture of optical materials, components, and assemblies
• Knowledge of optical metrology equipment including interferometers, profilometers, & autocollimators
• Aptitude for precision hands-on optical and mechanical skills; experience with assembling close tolerance parts that may have unusual shapes or parameters
• Have a drive for continuous improvement and be flexible and willing to learn new things

Ideal Candidate Experience:

• Optics and optical materials
• Precision machining and measurement
• Precision alignment, positioning, and assembly
• Interferometric testing
• Manufacturing processing
• Experience in precision machining and measurement including CNC equipment and programming; use of G-code
