Primary Responsibilities:

Process Mapping: Map current state processes across relevant domains or lines of business to uncover customer and employee pain points, supporting the development of improvement strategies.

Target State Process Creation: Design target state processes to enable increased levels of straight-through processing, enhancing agent and customer delivery of solutions while optimizing resource allocation.

Hypothesis Testing: Design and support the execution of hypotheses and proofs of concept as precursors to broader implementations.

Collaboration with Analytics Teams: Partner with Business Intelligence/Analytics and Customer/User Experience Analytics teams to define and measure metrics/KPIs, ensuring leading indicators are clearly identified and attributed to business processes.

Roadmap Development: Contribute to the development of roadmaps that address customer and employee needs and gaps, incorporating foundational technology capabilities and other digital enablers.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that target state processes and exception-based workflows are adhered to, controlled, and systematically tested for quality assurance in a repeatable and scalable manner.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Structured Decision-Making: Demonstrated ability to make decisions based on data and facts, employing a structured thought process.

Facilitation and Consultation: Proven ability to facilitate, consult, and drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across large teams, maintaining a proactive and transparent approach in communicating issues and requests.

Learning Agility: Quick to grasp new concepts and emerging technologies, with a proactive approach to continuous learning and expertise expansion.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively deconstruct problems and determine viable solutions using data as a guide.

Process Orientation: Detail-oriented with a strong focus on process optimization.

Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, results-driven, and well-organized individual.

Professional Experience: 7-10 years of experience in process engineering, operations management, or process improvement roles.

Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated experience in the insurance sector is preferred, with a strong understanding of claims processes and insurance operations.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel. Experience with process mapping tools and data analysis software is a plus.

Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly desirable. PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.
