Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize operations with an emphasis on SPC. You will monitor critical processes, drive root-cause analysis, and improve yields and costs while ensuring safety and quality.

The role includes writing procedures, supporting pilot-to-pilot scale-up, and leading capital projects. The ideal candidate has a chemical engineering background with multiple years in process engineering, batch chemistry, and troubleshooting within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 5–8 years in a process engineering role preferred.
• 3+ years in chemical synthesis or batch operations advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor processes and oversee SPC activities for critical operations.
• Daily production monitoring for quality, cycle time and safety compliance.
• Identify root causes of out-of-control products and implement corrective actions.
• Manage Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMR) and drive CAPA.
• Write/modify Work Instructions for existing products.
• Support scale-up from pilot to full-scale manufacturing and train operators.
• Lead capital projects and troubleshoot process/equipment issues.
• Collaborate with Maintenance/Production and coordinate EHS activities.
