Job summary
Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Process Electrical Planner for the Cortez operation in Elko, Nevada. In this role, you will develop job plans, manage budgets, and ensure that maintenance processes are efficiently executed. You will work closely with teams to optimize resources and schedule necessary maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Office, SAP, and relevant electrical equipment, along with a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
Experience using SAP and Xeras (or similar zero-based budgeting tool) preferred.
Ability to maintain pumping and piping equipment and electrical instrumentation preferred.
Experience working from blueprints and drawings preferred.
Excellent safety and attendance record required.
Responsibilities
Develop SJPs for routine maintenance activities per corporate standards.
Manage budgets and forecasts.
Process month-end accruals and report on cost performance.
Build one-time job plans for maintenance work.
Implement analyses in the Ivara work-management tool.
Ensure routine maintenance SJPs and safety information are maintained in SAP.
Review and approve invoices for payment.
Coordinate with other operations for plant shutdowns.
Assist in planning and coordinating shutdowns.
Update work orders status in SAP.
Perform other duties as assigned.
