Job summary

Dell Technologies in El Paso, TX seeks a Process Development Principal Engineer to design and implement manufacturing processes for hardware assembly and test at ODM partner facilities. You will lead capital projects, automation, and capacity expansion with cross‑functional teams across Mexico and the Americas.

The role requires 8+ years in process/manufacturing engineering, strong IE fundamentals, and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
Experience with ODM manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams.
Must support ODM operations in Mexico 3–4 days a week.

Responsibilities

Develop, qualify, and implement manufacturing processes for assembly, test, and integration of hardware at ODM partner facilities.
Drive accountability with ODM partners for capital projects, equipment installs, and readiness milestones.
Lead factory infrastructure, IT, automation, and capacity expansion projects from concept to implementation and handoff.
Review and validate capital equipment proposals, tooling investments, and capacity plans.
