Job summary

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) seeks a Process Development Senior Associate for an onsite, 12+ month contract in Thousand Oaks, CA. The role supports late-stage drug product technology development, focusing on automation and high-throughput screening to advance drug product commercialization.

Responsibilities include characterizing formulations, coordinating with the automation team, and applying chemical engineering principles to solve process challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (2+ years industry) or Master’s in relevant life sciences.
• Experience with protein handling in biotech/pharma.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute studies to enable automation and high-throughput screening.
• Characterize drug product formulations and processes.
• Collaborate with automation team to coordinate studies.
• Evaluate product attributes via analytical testing (pH, osmolality, SEC, etc.).
• Authors/reviews technical documents and reports.
• Support safety and compliance in the lab.
