Job summary

Brilliant Infotech Inc. seeks a senior controls engineer to collaborate with a multi-discipline team on automated systems across US sites. You will implement expansions, upgrade PLCs and HMIs, and ensure cyber, safety, and quality compliance.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 5+ years of experience with automated control systems, and hands-on work with Siemens PCS7, TIA Portal, PLC-5, and SLC-500. Travel 20-40% nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical or Control Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with automated control systems.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Siemens PCS7, TIA Portal, PLC 5, and SLC-500.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel 20%-40%, mostly US domestic (East to West Coast)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-discipline engineering project team and production staff
• Implement system expansions and obsolescence replacement projects
• Allen Bradley PLC5 and SLC500 upgrades to CLX5000
• Siemens PCS7 HMI version upgrade and Controller Upgrades
• TIA Portal version upgrades to v20
• Travel to site locations for installation checkout and system commissioning
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards
