Indorama Ventures: Indovinya is seeking a Process Control Engineer to support unit operations by maintaining and enhancing control applications and assets. You will develop, tune, and implement advanced control strategies, support PLCs and SIS systems, and drive safety and efficiency improvements across assigned units.

The role requires 5+ years in process/controls within petrochemical/refining environments, with experience in DCS (Foxboro IA/Delta V) and PLCs (Triconex, GE Fanuc).

Formación

• Degree in engineering in chemical, electrical, or mechanical fields.
• Minimum 5 years of process/controls/operations experience in petrochemical or refining facility.
• Proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with DCS systems such as Foxboro IA or Emerson Delta V preferred.
• Experience with PLCs (Triconex or GE Fanuc/Mark V) preferred.
• Knowledge of Process Hazard Analysis and LOPA studies.
• Control network management preferred.
• Control application experience, continuous controls, batch experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and enhance process control applications and assets.
• Develop, modify, and tune control strategies for assigned units.
• Provide basic control assistance and Advanced Control for multi-variable controllers.
• Develop new control strategies for new projects or products.
• Monitor unit operations to meet production, quality, and energy targets.
• Support design, installation and maintenance of PLCs, automation systems, and Safety Instrumented Systems.
• Facilitate MOC, PHA, IPL studies and incident investigations for assigned units.
• Lead alarm management activities and operator training on control strategies.
