Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Staff Process CI Engineer in Hershey, PA (remote options available) to advance our multi-year improvement plan. You will identify, develop, and implement product and process optimization across the manufacturing network, spanning confectionery and salty brands.

You will lead or partner on complex initiatives to improve cost, capacity, quality, safety, and supply continuity, working with plant teams, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in food science or engineering.
• Knowledge of food-manufacturing systems and sanitary design.
• Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
• Proven project planning, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex product and process optimization projects across the network.
• Drive opportunity identification, design, installation, startup, and handoff.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Manufacturing.
• Mentor technicians and professionals on project teams.
• Coordinate supplier evaluation, installation, validation, and training.
