Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Process Chemist for a 6-month contract to lead development, scale-up, and transfer of advanced API manufacturing processes under GMP.

The role partners with analytical chemists, process engineers, PMs, and external experts to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing, while preparing regulatory documentation and staying abreast of new technologies.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry with relevant API development experience.
• Experience supporting GMP manufacturing, validation, and tech transfers.
• Strong background in process chemistry and scale-up.
• Familiarity with analytical instrumentation (NMR, TLC, LCMS).

Responsibilities

• Lead development and scale-up of advanced API manufacturing processes.
• Serve as technical lead for process transfer to manufacturing scale under GMP.
• Collaborate with analytical chemists, process engineers, PMs, and partners.
• Prepare and maintain technical docs including batch records and reports.
• Support regulatory documentation submissions, including DMFs.
• Stay current on new technologies and regulatory guidelines.
