Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Automation Technician to troubleshoot and optimize plant control systems, mentor operators and junior engineers, and implement automation projects.

Qualifications
- Completion of an approved electrical/instrumentation certification program and at least 1 year of experience in process automation repair and maintenance.
- Five years of experience in electrical/instrumentation and process automation maintenance and troubleshooting in an industrial setting, including 1 year of Process Automation-specific maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and improve site Industrial Control Systems under supervision and mentor junior staff.
- Lead and contribute to safety and cybersecurity practices related to ICSc and PCN networks.
- Create and review engineering docs, ensure work meets site standards and budget plans.
- Install ICSc hardware/software, identify automation opportunities, and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate PLC, HMI, SCADA, and instrumentation work across projects and teams.
