GBA is seeking a Senior Process Architect to design process-intensive life science facilities, coordinating across engineering, construction, and regulatory teams to meet complex requirements. You will translate client needs into space-planning solutions and lead design decision processes.

The role emphasizes mentoring junior staff, maintaining project quality, and delivering compliant, constructible environments that support fast, safe production of medicines and therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (NAAB-accredited) or Mechanical/Architectural Engineering with 6+ years experience.
• Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer licensure is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Generate conceptual and schematic designs for process-intensive life science facilities.
• Lead coordination with engineering, construction, and regulatory disciplines to resolve conflicts and compliance gaps.
• Prepare design reports, technical narratives, and client presentations communicating rationale and impacts.
• Participate in client meetings to present concepts and document decisions for integration.
• Manage schedule coordination, scope tracking, and documentation oversight for projects.
• Review work by junior staff and provide technical feedback for accuracy and quality.
