Overview

Process Architect - We are seeking a Process Architect to join our life sciences design team. In this role, you will lead conceptual design efforts for cleanroom and technical facilities, working directly with clients, engineers, and cross-disciplinary teams. This position combines technical design leadership with project management and client interaction, offering opportunities to contribute to innovative facility solutions while mentoring junior staff and supporting business development.

Day-to-day responsibilities
  • Develop and execute process architectural design concepts for cleanroom and life sciences facilities, ensuring compliance with cGMP, regulatory, and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (engineering, construction, pre-construction) to translate conceptual designs into scalable project deliverables.
  • Act as a primary client-facing representative, guiding stakeholders through conceptual phases and providing clear technical communication.
  • Support project management activities, including budget, schedule, and scope coordination to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and mentorship while staying current with industry trends and cleanroom design advancements.
What we're looking for
  • Professional Architecture Licensure (minimum Bachelor of Architecture, Master's preferred; NCARB/LEED a plus).
  • 7+ years of architectural experience, including at least 5 years in a Project Architect role, ideally within life sciences, cleanroom, or highly technical facility design.
  • Proven ability to lead conceptual design projects from feasibility through execution, with strong client interface and interdisciplinary coordination skills.
