Job summary

TPC Group is seeking an Analyzer Technician to join our petrochemical team. You will inspect and repair process analyzers and sample systems, perform preventive maintenance, and read P&ID/PFD diagrams to guide tasks.

You will handle on-call rotations and maintain safe, compliant operations across the site. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in analytical instrumentation maintenance and an associate degree in instrumentation tech, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of troubleshooting and repair of analytical instrumentation.
• Ability to read P&ID and PFD diagrams and apply maintenance tasks.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair process analyzers and sample systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on process analyzers.
• Read P&ID/PFD and use instrument loop sheets for maintenance.
• Handle emergency call-out with weekly on-call rotation.
• Maintain safe work practices and environment.
• Document Preventive Maintenance and regulatory calibrations.
• Use testing equipment for diagnostic and repair work.
• Maintain GC preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Troubleshoot and repair GC analyzers (Siemens Maxum II, Applied Automation Opti-Chrom, Yokogawa).
• Maintain CEMS analyzer maintenance, calibration, and repair.
• Calibrate and repair O2, CO, and moisture analyzers.
