Job summary

TPC Group in Houston is seeking an Analyzer Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain process analyzers and sample systems. The role includes performing preventive maintenance, reading P&ID/PFD diagrams, and supporting calibration activities.

You'll work in a collaborative environment with a rotating on-call duty and a 4/10 schedule. A strong focus is on safety, documentation, and coordination with Environmental and other teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Instrumentation/Analytical Instrumentation Tech with 2 years' experience or 5 years' petrochemical analytical equipment maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing analytical instrumentation.
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office) and good verbal/written communication.
• Ability to consult with 3rd party support to resolve equipment concerns.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair process analyzers and sample systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on analyzers.
• Read P&ID's and PFD's and use instrument loop sheets.
• Emergency call-out and rotating weekly on-call duty.
• Maintain safe work environment and follow Safe Work Practices.
• Maintain documentation for PMs, Mechanical Integrity tasks, and calibrations.
• Use testing equipment to support analysis and calibration.
• Maintain GC systems and CEMS equipment.
