Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Certified in accordance with Florida Statutes 943.13.
• All employees in the correctional probation officer classes shall be required to possess a valid driver’s license as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor offender compliance in the community.
• Conduct field and office supervision visits to ensure compliance with supervision conditions.
• Assess offender needs and refer to treatment options and services.
• Maintain case records and document progress and background information.
• Install and monitor electronic monitoring devices as required.
