Job summary

InvestX Capital Ltd. is seeking an experienced Private Markets Specialist to build and scale our OTC trading ecosystem for late-stage growth and pre-IPO equities.

You will generate order flow, structure and execute transactions, and work with senior leaders to expand platform activity. The role requires an established client network, strong negotiation skills, and a proactive, autonomous mindset in a fast-paced growth environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in private markets, secondary transactions, institutional sales, capital markets, or a closely related field.
• Strong established network of private-market clients and prospects, including family offices and institutional counterparties.
• Proven track record originating, negotiating, and executing private-market transactions and generating order flow.
• Deep knowledge of late-stage growth and pre-IPO equities and related market dynamics.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 required; able to travel US/Canada as needed.

Responsibilities

• Generate, structure, negotiate, and execute pre-IPO equity transactions.
• Leverage an established network of counterparties seeking late-stage growth opportunities.
• Advise counterparties on share-transfer negotiations and private-market complexities.
• Identify and resolve transaction hurdles to drive trades to completion.
• Proactively identify trading opportunities and maintain active engagement with clients.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities for current and future transactions.
• Maintain market intelligence including trade history and pricing activity.
• Expand relationships within client organizations to broaden platform activity.
• Present solutions addressing counterparty needs with a consultative approach.
• Partner with senior leaders to develop strategic relationships and initiatives.
• Identify trends and opportunities that lead to new transactions or partnerships.
• Share market dynamics with internal stakeholders to guide decisions.
• Handle inquiries, pitch meetings, and post-meeting follow-up professionally.
